Early Evening Structure Fire on Priscilla Street- - Priscilla Street

June 26, 2010 – The Salisbury Fire Department Stations 2, 16 and 1 were alerted for a reported structure fire at 520 Priscilla Street just before 6pm. 16-17, (S. Records), arrived on scene POV to find a working fire in a one story structure. 16-17 assumed Command. Bystanders reported the home to have a daycare center located there and multiple vehicles were noted to be in the driveway. The crew of Engine 2 forced entry on Side A, and had the initial attack. The crew of Engine 16-1 vented the roof. Primary and secondary searches were negative; it was later discovered the occupant had left the residence approximately twenty minutes prior. The Maryland State Fire Marshal’s Office was requested to the scene. Crews remained on the scene for a short period of time to assist with overhaul and clean-up. All units returned to service without incident.
